Excell Sound is a 20 watt page/party amplifier system. Comtrol’s Excell Sound industrial communication system provides plant-wide paging and full-duplex party line conversation capabilities. This system is engineered to meet the rigorous requirements of most harsh industrial environments. The equipment is designed to operate in high ambient noise areas with extremes of temperature, humidity, dust, and corrosion. The Comtrol line of Excell Sound stations operate in page/party mode. This means that people can be paged at any location throughout the plant, as long as they are within audible range of any paging speaker. At the same time, a private conversation can be held over the party line. The stations feature a dynamic handset, a twenty-watt speaker amplifier, integrated electronics, page and party line switching – all mounted in a standard stainless steel housing. These units are available in single or five-party versions. The five-party systems permit up to five simultaneous, full-duplex communications. Additionally, indoor, outdoor, desk top, and headset models are available.
