This driver is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. This is an excellent choice for any installation requiring rugged, medium power drivers. The SP1559D2 driver has a cable and sealed entry. It has been engineered to provide flexibility in application. Voice coils and the transformers may be changed within minutes. Additionally, it provides a flatter response over the speech frequency range and up to 40% lower distortion when used with one-inch throat horns. It features a weatherproof rear housing, a field replaceable, plug-in voice coil assembly, and a weather-sealed gland nut connection. This compression driver is designed for heavy duty, medium power public address installations where clear, penetrating coverage and maximum sound pressure levels are of prime concern.
